Horatio and other guards witness the ghost of their recently deceased king. Horatio quickly reports the viewing to the king’s only son, Hamlet. Hamlet decides to attempt to communicate with the ghost, and, against friendly advice, follows the ghost when beckoned. The ghost of the king reveals to Hamlet the secrets of a well planned murder, one already committed, the murder of the king. Hamlet is infuriated, and is convinced to attempt revenge.
Polonius, father of Laertes and Ophelia, Hamlet’s only love, is an advisor to the new king. Hamlet begins to act strangely, and when Ophelia tells Polonius of Hamlet’s new personality, Polonius decides to investigate with consent of the king. The king also summons two of Hamlet’s friends from college, Rosencratz and Guildenstern. The pair is convinced by the current king to spy on Hamlet and attempt to discover the reason behind his awkward actions. Hamlet, with help from traveling players, writes a play identical to the murder plot, to be played for the murderer and those surrounding him.
The king and his trio of curious followers continue to intently spy on Hamlet, particularly when he is with Ophelia. The play, “The Mousetrap,” is acted out in front of the king. When he notices the similarity of the plot of the play to his murder, he storms out of the room. The queen, Gertrude, former wife of the murdered, current wife of the murderer, agrees to send for Hamlet with the goal of making him open up about his feelings while Polonius hides in the room. Hamlet, before going to his mother’s room, goes to the king’s quarters with plans to murder him, but decides to wait because the king is praying. He reports to the queen’s room, discovers the eavesdropper, and, thinking it is the king, stabs and murders Polonius. Hamlet, unsuccessfully, tries to convince his mother that the current king is mad.
The king orders Rosencratz and Guildenstern to take Hamlet to England with a letter requesting that the English monarchy put him to death. Hamlet discovers the letter, writes one that would put his escorts to death, and escapes. He returns to his homeland and stumbles upon the funeral of Ophelia, who apparently committed suicide when she learned of her father’s death. When the king and Laertes, intent on avenging the death of his father and sister, learn of Hamlet’s return, they plot to kill him in a duel with various means of poison.
Laertes and Hamlet have a short fight in the uncovered grave of Ophelia, before the burial, and agree on a duel, to simply test the skill of the two. One of the attempts to kill Hamlet, a poisoned drink, kills Gertrude when she makes a toast using that cup, killing herself. In the duel, Laertes uses a sword with a poisoned tip. He manages to stab Hamlet. Before Hamlet dies, he is able to gain control of Laertes sword and stab him with it. Hamlet then wounds the king with the sword and forces him to finish the poisoned drink. Hamlet tells Fortinbras, a traveling prince, that he will be the next king of Denmark. Hamlet dies.

Chick Evens and Tom Fortuna, stood still looked about the railroad yard.

“It’s all right,” Tom said.

“You mean the lousy brakeman’s gone-right,” Chick asked Tom.

“He’s nowhere insight,” remarked Tom.

Evens wiped his hands on his trousers, getting the dirt off of them, he looked down the tracks a-ways, could still see the lights of the caboose, it had left the Jackson Street Railroad Yard, had slowed down a mile away at the Mississippi Railroad Yard (where they were at now, near their homes), but was going in the opposite direction he and Tom wanted to go, wanted to catch a ride from St. Paul, to Chicago. They were both fifteen-years old, it was a Friday night, they figured they’d jump the train as it slowed down, and be in Chicago by morning, have breakfast and if their luck held out, be back in St. Paul by noon the next day for lunch.

The train was coming, he could feel the distinct power in its movement of the ground, unlike anything else, it woke him up-vibrated through his feet to his stomach and arms and throat and jaw and teeth, startled his inners, the sound was so loud and powerful, he could feel, if not sense, and was convinced the train would soon bear down upon him.

Chick touched the stepladder attached onto the freight car that ran parallel to him, as he ran and allowed the pull of the train to automatically lift and pull his body over and up onto its steel ladder-next to it, then he’d hang on with one hand, pull the rest of his body up and to the ladder bars, as Tom would do the same, was doing the same, and Chick noticed underneath the boxcar was a hobo or bum (a hobo being a traveling worker, and a bum being a bum), and in-between two boxcars (the one he was hanging onto, and the one Tom was hanging onto, next to his) was another vagrant; both he and Tom, hanging onto the side ladders, attached to the freight cars. He could hardly see them, but they were there, moving shadows nonetheless, and with the moon being their lamp, he could see their outlines.

The gravel and packed sand along side the tracks, extended beyond the rim of the steel tracks, and solid wooden row of timbers. In part He was about to do what the hobos were doing, riding the rods, that required skill and lots of courage, and it required a man to position himself under the freight car, hanging onto a rod, as Jack Dempsey did when he was sixteen, Evens at fifteen, but not to the extend Jack did. In those far-off days, folks had to go long distances to find work; this was an adventure trip, nothing more. Therefore, he simply, grabbed with one hand, and jumped with one foot landing on that ladder I mentioned, at the end of one freight car, and there he was. The metal ladder went to the roof of the car, he remained on its first step, held with two hands the third bar to the ladder, gripped the iron like bar in front of him with no breathing space between bar and fingers.

Chick was not what was called ‘a teenage-freight rider, riding the rails’ as many teenagers did during the depression years in the 1920s and 30s, on a regular bases, but from his perspective, and Tom’s, it was presumed simply, and attempted at simply, for its romanticism of the road, and in time, Chick Evens would travel the roads throughout the whole United States by car, trains and planes, then crisscross the world by planes. But today, for now, this evening, at this very moment, it was his first ride on a freight train, and his first, attempt at riding the rails, as they say; call it the spirit of adventure.

The boxcars started to speed up; there was acceleration, a rush inside of Chick, along with the trains forward thrust. Likewise, Tom was hanging on tight, heart-wrenching: it was a free ride, open air, exhilarating, and Evens tried to get another look at the traveler underneath the freight car on the car’s structural rods he got a glimpse of his hand hanging beyond the boxcar, and his elbow, his smudged and muddy boots, then he saw another man climbing a ladder beyond Tom’s boxcar, looking like he was going to ride the deck (on top of the railroad car), unless it was a guard. He thought maybe he should have tried an empty gondola car, that is, an unoccupied caboose, but that would have been too dangerous, once in it you’d not be able to escape easily, if someone put a spike in the door, and most of them were closed anyhow, so this was for the most part, safer, yet one needed to be mindful of the risk.

Four miles outside of St. Paul, the train started to slow down; Chick could see and feel the slower movement of the train. What he was hoping was there’d be no swaying trains, coming the opposite way, it could sweep him off the train into it, the one riding the rods were safer, they were confined in a smaller space, less detectable than he, who had to hang exposed, and hang on for dear life; whereas, those under him could roll out and off the train when he wanted to with no difficulty or move back farther in, plus he got only a little dust and cinders on him, whereas Evens got them all, even got dirt thrown in his face, and that got a little fearful for him, and the monotonous sound of the wheels, could lull a man to sleep, on the rails, and falling to sleep, meant falling to your death. Although one needed to be careful if he road the rods, because at road crossings, one could get their cloths caught in planks, and be pulled under the train itself, and cut in two. For some this kind of life, was a lifestyle, for Chick Evens, as already pointed out, it was an adventure, no more, and one that appeared to be ending sooner than expected.

Another three miles and then the train came to a dead stop. They were in some railroad yard, a junction, there was a highway to the left of them, and lights, from a restaurant, a gas station and a bar lit up the area he was in.

Chick stepped down off the ladder backwards, it was easier to pull his self off and then be facing forward in a comfortable option to take a second step, to catch oneself, and not get hurt. The same way he got onto the ladder, achieving solid footing. Then he looked straight ahead, the sign read: “New Port,” and he said to Tom: “Well, exactly where are we?”

(A man yelled from the top of the roof, ‘You kids get the hell out of here before…!”)

“Let’s get going,” said Tom.

“Where is New Port?” Chick asked Tom.

Tom a little embarrassed, remarked, “Seven miles from where we started out from, my older sister lives out here with her husband. And there isn’t any more trains going to Chicago, and only one leaving here at 2:00 a.m., to go back to the Jackson Street Yards, only slowing down at the Mississippi Yards.” (Tom had watched trains pretty much, knew about them, but as far as Chick was concerned: the blind was following the blind.)

“So now we got to walk seven miles back home, is that right Tom?” asked Evens, as if he didn’t know, nor needed any confirmation, but out of anger. Tom looked at Evens, smiled, Evens’ face was unhappy, said in a blunt way, “And we are only 393 miles from Chicago.”

Tom looked at his watch, “its 11:20 p.m., we should get back in a few hours if we keep a good stride.” He commented.

He looked at Tom, “Let’s sit down over by the embankment, rest, get our wind, and then head on back.”

And there they sat, blank like, looking off into emptiness, to nowhere, discouraged, but Evens came to the point after a minute or two of meditation: he got his ride, learned a few things along the way, and for now that would just have to do, it would have to be good enough, like it or not, and his composure showed it was-under the circumstances- showed that it was kosher.

“Let’s go Tom,” said Chick.

“Sure,” said Tom, droopy faced, not looking forward to the seven mile walk back along the tracks, “What’s the matter?” Asked Tom.

“I’m alright, just thinking it will be about 3:00 a.m., by the time we get back.”

“I don’t know, but that sounds about right,” said Tom.

“Come on; let’s get going then, no time to waste.”

It was 2:45 a.m., when Evens walked through the door of his home, everyone sleeping, and he went directly to the bathroom, which meant he had to go halfway into his mother’s bedroom, “Who’s that?” she said.

“Just me, Chick mom, went to the bathroom?”

“Oh, when did you get…?” and before she could finished her statement-question, and before Evens had to lie, she fell back to sleep.

Likewise, slow your exposure speed to 1/10 of a second or thereabouts. Be sure to hold your digital camera steady, or use a tripod, to avoid camera shake. That waterfall will now look like a stream of water flowing down. Try adjusting your digital camera’s exposure time when recording pool balls, automobiles, or other fast-moving subjects for interesting effects.

If the histogram is balanced towards the middle, your exposure settings should be correct. Your photo should have a normal exposure. Exceptions can occur, so even if the histogram ‘looks’ right you should visually verify how the image will look with your viewfinder or LCD. If the histogram is weighted towards the sides, chances are your image contains a complex combination of brightness and darkness. Waterfall photos or other areas of dark foliage next to a bright sky may exhibit this trait. In this case, you should experiment and bracket your photos, then pick out which one looks the best to you.

Here are some tips for taking clean, crisp, photographs with your digital camera when you don’t have a tripod handy: Set the camera exposure time as quick as possible. This will require some experimentation, because short exposure times during night or poorly lighted situations usually result in bad pictures with washed out colors. Try to find a balance between an exposure time long enough to get a pleasing photograph versus an exposure time short enough to eliminate ‘camera shake’. Use flash. In many situations flash can really save a picture. Flash works best if you are relatively close to a subject so the light can reflect; taking flash photographs of skylines or distant subjects may not perform as well. Sometimes the difference between taking great sunrise and sunset photography and shooting only so-so photos is the patience the photographer has in staying through the entire event. Arrive early: If you are shooting in a popular area, by arriving early you can claim a good spot to watch and record the show. It may take time to set up your tripod and other equipment. Plus, for sunrises, you have a better chance of seeing birds or other animals and these can make for great silhouetted subjects. Stay late: Clouds can change the color of the sky minute-by-minute. Twilight after the perceived end of a sunset may bask the sky in a colorful glow, and you don’t want to be driving away from the scene wishing you had stayed just a couple minutes longer!

While sunrise and sunset photos are nice, unless the scene contains spectacular colors, huge clouds, or fast-rolling waves (at a beach), too many of these photos can be bland. Try to add a silhouette, such as: A person or people; An animal, such as a bird or a dog; A sailboat or other watercraft; Trees or shrubs; An expansive bridge To get certain subjects into your photo may require patience, but they help add depth and perspective to your photos.

During travel you could experiance and might want to go to places that are cold. When the weather gets much colder, especially as it gets below freezing, take care to not breathe on your digital camera. Tiny water droplets in your breath could form condensation on your digital camera lens. If this happens, immediately wipe the moisture off with a lint-free cloth, lest it completely freeze and possibly cause damage.

Looking for ways to take ‘aerial’ photography of a large city without taking a helicopter ride or paying to stand in a skyscraper’s observation deck? One place you may have not thought about is a garage. A large parking garage with a high vantage point can provide great locations from which to take photos from high above street level. However, don’t trespass, and don’t arouse suspicion! Bringing along a tripod or taking too long to frame a photo might raise the ire of security guards. Some places don’t allow you to take photos altogether, and even if you pay for a parking spot, you might be considered a trespasser or possibly a security threat. So just take a few quick hand-held photos and move on as to not attract attention.

If you are just starting out taking photos at night, check to see if your digital camera has a special night program or scene mode – read your camera manual. This mode will adjust your camera settings, tuning it to low-light conditions and possibly allowing you to take better night photos than if you were fumbling through other options. If you’re not sure about adjusting exposure times and have no idea what ISO means, a one-touch setting may be all you need.

The big account for September is Mercury’s retrograde, which will absorb a lot of of the month. But, we aswell accept 2 apathetic alien planets, Saturn and Uranus, advancing to the 3rd aiguille of their opposition. It will apparently be best to chase the boy scout’s adage and “be prepared” for just about annihilation as our seasons change from Summer to Fall.

September begins with Mercury and Mars angry and fighting. A lot of of us will be activity somewhat tense, and there will be a college anticipation of accidents on the freeways. Some of us may say a few things we regret, afore Mercury turns astern on Labor Day, September 7th.

Labor Day weekend could activate with absolutely a activity with the Pisces Full Moon on Friday. Many will be acute and some will be using their addictions to aloof those feelings. We will get our additional wind on Sunday, but bouncer adjoin abrupt behavior. You may end up in an blow with one of those bashed drivers. And, we will accept the accepted Mercury astern base problems like biking delays and detours, advice problems, and just apparent brainy abashing all the way through Tuesday, September 8th. (Happy Labor Day?)

Those of us with boss Scorpio in our archive may feel like the aboriginal anniversary of Mercury’s astern is complete hell. Its not Mercury’s retrograde. Its Pluto axis direct. Many of us will acquisition that we are accessible to bandy abroad the debris in our lives September 7th through the 14th, but we will hit the aiguille of that activity on September 11th, Patriot Day.

The anniversary of September 14th could be actual arduous with 8 of the 10 above planets adverse in some way. Saturn and Uranus will be hitting the 3rd aiguille of their 2 year continued action on Tuesday, and on the aforementioned day Venus and Neptune will be at odds. Then a brace canicule after the Sun joins the Saturn-Uranus dispute, and Mercury in astern picks a action with Pluto. The accomplished anniversary could accompany a lot of frustration, accidents, and conceivably even some alienated behavior.

The weekend will activate with the Virgo new moon on Friday, September 18, and we should get a bit of a abatement from the all-overs and irritations. It will be a abundant time for parties and romance, and maybe some of that apparition hunting I mentioned in my Mercury Astern article.

There will be just a few added hurtles to jump during the aboriginal few canicule of the anniversary of September 21st. There could be some jealousy, overreacting, misunderstandings, and abrupt bad account through Thursday, September 24, but the blow of the ages should be a breeze.

Mercury will be axis absolute on Tuesday, September 29th, but this time Mars will be sending absolute energy. There may be a few archetypal Mercury astern problems, like delays and misunderstandings, but it will not be annihilation we can’t handle.

We had eclipses in July and August, Mercury’s astern in September, and assumption what, people? There is annihilation above advancing in October. It should be a artistic ages with a few ups and downs. Check aback next ages for the details.

Maybe you’ve never seen the excellent television series Lost, or maybe you’ve only recently become hooked. Either way, this article was written with the intention of giving you a brief rundown of all the pivotal characters. Unless otherwise mentioned, each character was a survivor of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815.
Jack – A doctor, Jack had traveled to Australia to pick up the body of his father to take him back to America for burial. Since he’s the doctor among the survivors, Jack has become the de facto leader of the group. Hardheaded, but always tries to do what he thinks is right. Has an attraction to Kate.
John Locke – Traveled to Australia to go on a walking tour of the Outback. He was turned away because he was in a wheelchair. It is still unknown how he came to be in the wheelchair, as flashbacks show him to be walking without trouble. After crashing on the island, Locke found that he could once again walk. Skilled at hunting and tracking, Locke has natural leadership talents. This has caused he and Jack to clash on several occasions.
Sawyer – A con man, Sawyer was in Australia to kill the man responsible for the death of his parents. Hates himself and wants everyone else to hate him. Very charismatic. Is constantly getting shot, tortured, or knocked over the head. Has an attraction to Kate.
Kate – Was being brought back to the United States by a federal marshal when the plane crashed. She was wanted for the murder of her father, an abusive drunk who beat her mother. Has had other run-ins with the law, but much of this is still unexplained. Is torn between her feelings for both Jack and Sawyer. Strong survival instincts.
Hugo Hurley – Likeable overweight fellow who won the lottery and is worth millions of dollars. Laid back attitude and often serves as the comic relief. Spent time in a mental institution. Has an imaginary friend named Dave. Was working on a relationship with Libby before her death.
Charlie – The creative force behind the once-famous band known as DriveShaft. Heroin addict. Traveled to Australia to see his brother, the former lead singer of the band. Attracted to Claire. Hates Locke and would like nothing more than to see him look like a fool. Has demonstrated that he is more than capable of violence.
Claire – Was pregnant when the plane crashed. Has since given birth to a baby boy named Aaron. Native of Australia. She was flying to America to put her baby up for adoption. She and her baby were captured by the Others, but she was able to escape.
Sayid – Former member of the Iraqi Republican Guard. Skilled torturer and interrogator. Was involved with Shannon before her death.
Sun – Wife of Jin. Korean. Was planning on leaving her husband before the plane crash. Was recently revealed to be pregnant, even though her husband was supposed to be sterile. Often tends to her garden and seems very gentle, but recently shot and killed one of the Others. Father was a crime boss.
Jin – Husband of Sun. Korean from a very poor fisherman’s family. Fell in love with Sun and became an enforcer for her father. This job made him very cold and distant. On the island, he puts his skills as a fisherman to good use. Has reconciled with his wife.
Michael – Had traveled to Australia to take his son, Walt, back home after the death of Walt’s mother. An artist who was also involved in construction. Built a boat to try and escape the island, but it was destroyed by the Others. After his son was abducted, Michael seemed to go a little crazy. He eventually killed Ana Lucia and Libby in a desperate bid to get his son back. Walt was returned and the two were given a boat and directions to the nearest continent. They have not been seen since.
Walt – Young kid. The son of Michael. Was going to live with Michael after the death of his mother. Possesses strange powers to manipulate reality. Captured by the Others. At the end of season two, he is returned to his father and the pair is allowed to leave the island.
Shannon – Spoiled brat from a rich family. When her father died, she was forced to fend for herself. Was in love with her step-brother, Boone. Was involved with Sayid shortly before her death. Fatally shot by Ana Lucia.
Rose – Wife of Bernard. Dying of cancer, but the cancer went into remission on the island. Very straightforward.
Bernard – Husband of Rose. Had taken her to Australia to a faith healer. Does not want to leave the island, for fear that his wife’s cancer will return.
Henry Gale – Seems to be the leader of the Others, although he claims he answers to someone else. Highly intelligent and well-read. Played Jack and Locke against one another. Has a tumor on his spine and has had Jack captured so that he can remove it. Claims to be one of “the good guys.”
Ana Lucia – Former L.A. cop. She quit the force after killing a man who had shot her (she was pregnant at the time and lost the baby). Tough and no nonsense. Attracted to Jack and slept with Sawyer. Accidentally killed Shannon after mistaking her for one of the Others. Shot and killed by Michael while she was guarding Henry Gale.
Libby – Claimed to be a psychiatrist, but spent time in the same institution as Hurley. A widower, she gave her husband’s yacht to Desmond during a chance encounter. Was developing a romance with Hurley. Accidentally shot and killed by Michael when he assisted Henry Gale in escaping.
Mr. Eko – A Nigerian warlord turned holy man. Eko clashed with Locke on several occasions. Physically, the most imposing of the survivors. Stood up to a strange black smoke which has appeared a few times. When the smoke took the form of his dead brother and demanded that Eko repent for his sins, Eko refused. The smoke then lifted him up and killed him.
Boone – Step-brother of Shannon. Had traveled to Australia to bring her back home. Boone died in season one from injuries sustained when he fell off the side of a cliff. Was in love with Shannon.
Juliette – A member of the Others, Juliette has been assigned to gather information from Jack. Claims to have once been a fertility doctor. Wants Henry Gale dead.
Desmond – A former military man and convict, Desmond found the island while on a boat race around the world. He became involved with the Dharma Initiative and was living underground until discovered by the crash survivors. He has since joined up with their group. Unbeknownst to him, his former fiancee is still combing the world in an effort to find him.
Danielle – A French scientist who has been stranded on the island for decades. Her young daughter was captured and raised by the Others. Has went a bit mad living alone for so many years. Master of tracking, hunting, and survival. Still wants to rescue her daughter.

You’ve seen him on def jam , bet comicview and the Jamie Foxx show now see him live up close and personal for free this weekend ( in Cleveland , Ohio) at the Ohio Laffhouse ( Nov14-15). 24800 Euclid Avenue

Many claim they can deliver , but few take it to the stage quite like one of America’s fastest rising comedic stars. From New York to Los Angeles and points in between Cortney Gee’s name has shared billing with modern humor luminaries such as Steve Harvey , Mark Curry, DL Hughley and Jamie Foxx. While sharing the spotlight with some of today’s hottest stars he has amused audiences with his unique blend of smooth delivery, unforgettable stage presence and uncanny timing.

Cortney gives a bird’s eye view into his life while he pokes fun at realistic family and young adult situations. While watching his performance the crowd is treated to the luxury of laughing along with him at his misfortunes while realizing that if they’ve gone through the same thing, and it’s ok.This talent for making light of life was apparent in the 1991 Funnybone / Atlanta Laff- Off in which he had the audience howling over material concerning the pre shopping pep talk he and his sister recieved each time they went to the mall, the embarrasment of being punished in front of his history class, and the amusing tale of how he and his mom enjoyed a Teddy Pendergrass concert. Performances such as this one along with alot of determination and persistance has garnered much attention for the thirty something year old. Cortney has not only caught the eye of the of the club goers but also the attention of television talent coordinators , he has become one of the more recognized young african american comics while making appearances on BET’s Comicview as well as HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. Not only has his talents as a stand up drawn praise but also his ability to write funny things for others,in the summer of 97′ Cortney not only wrote for the BET sitcom Blackberry Inn but also The Keenan Ivory Wayans Show . Never the one to be satisfied he is now tackling a new career … ACTING . He made his acting debut on the WB #1 rated show , The Jamie Foxx Show playing a inept security guard with a penchant for cutting the rug .Currently he has been traveling throught the country touring concert venues , colleges, clubs, and abroad as a USO headlining entertainer. When not on the road the astute performer studies acting in Los Angeles in hopes of securing roles in television and film.He is also penning a fictional novel Barely Standing .

Here’s your chance , free chance at that to see Cortney befoire his star takes off .

Daughter of Destiny

Child of the Spirit

Yesterday’s is gone

A new day has come

With the fire of My Spirit

You now shall burn and run

Taking your testimony forth

Going into the nations

Boldly arising without hesitation

For the finances shall flow

All fear and doubt go!

Provision you’ll know

My bounty untold

Abundant treasures of old.
As for your audience

You’ll attract them like a magnet

For you attract what you are

And daughter you are much

Much more than you know

Definitely beyond the vain show

For you are a woman of valor

A woman of honor

A woman of strength

None shall dishonor

For I shall be with you

I will guard your back

And silence the enemy

Before every attack

So fear not My daughter

For this is your hour

To arise and shine

Redeem the time

Be at peace and sublime

For you’re in your prime

Prime time has come

Divine destiny is fun!

Together we’ll teach

The nations we’ll reach

And when you open your mouth

Through it I shall speak

My authority you’ll know

My power through you shall flow

Demon power shall go

As you abide in My zoe

The God kind of life

That cuts through lies

With the edge of a knife

The sword of the Spirit

Causing to cease all turmoil and strife

The gifts of the Spirit within you

Far better weapons are they

Yet to be discovered

They’re in you already

Waiting happily to be uncovered

Gifts to be unwrapped

Treasures to be unlocked

Divine ability to explode in you

So you can teach and do!

It’s all yours by faith

Just believe and enter in

Grab it with grace

With a smile on your face

Once you get it

Guard it well

For the jealous devil

Would prefer you in hell

As you freely receive

Freely give

Give it to the nations

Letting God arise

Imparting spiritual sensations

Removing all limitations!
The Dream-Maker is here

In His glory He’s come

To take away the dull

And make life more fun

To cause you to arise

To not despise

Even to remove the scales

From your eyes

Imparting spiritual vision

A burden for the nations

A yearning for revival

And divine impartation

So think it not strange

As I the Lord come suddenly

For I have chosen you

To be a daughter of destiny.

Apart from noise, other forms of interference found in radio receivers, as the image frequency, transmitters operating on an adjacent channel and transmitters operating in the same channel. Frequency modulation provides not only improved the sound to noise ratio, but greater discrimination against all other interfering signals, regardless of its source. As we know the frequency modulation with maximum deviation of about 75 kHz pre-emphasis provides noise rejection of at least 23 dB better than amplitude modulation. Therefore, if an amplitude modulation receiver noise needs 60 dB of sound on the enemy excellent detector performance, then an FM receiver will be the same for the noise performance of only 37 dB sound. These results, whether the interference signal is due to noise or adjacent channel signal. The mechanism of frequency modulation limiter to reduce the interference is exactly the same whether it is noise or adjacent channel signal. Moreover, each modulation frequency channel occupies 200 kHz transmission. Beyond this, only 180 kHz is actually used, while the remaining 20 kHz are the guard band to reduce adjacent channel interference more. The range limiter used in the frequency modulation receiver passes the signal stronger, but removes the weakest. It is for this reason that the noise reduction is obtained in the frequency modulation, provided the signal is at least twice the peak amplitude of noise. For the same reason, the relatively weak signal interference from any other transmitter operating in the same frequency as desired, would be diminished. The co-channel interference is suppressed in the frequency modulation. The possibility of co-channel interference arises in practice, when a mobile receiver moves from one transmitter to another operation on the same frequency. Interesting phenomena of the catch is done. Thus, frequency modulation, as the mobile receiver from a transmitter to the second, the second transmitter is inaudible practically do not interfere if the voltage signal from the transmitter second is less than half of those from the beginning. Beyond this point the second transmitter become very audible in the background and, finally, what is excluded dominated the first transmitter. Thus, the mobile receiver is captured by the second transmitter. When the receiver is in the transition region is approximately in the center and discoloration occurs, then the signal of the two transmitters are stronger alternative. Thus, the receiver is captured alternatively by a transmitter and then the other. This change from a transmitter to another is most annoying, not unlike the system of amplitude modulation. In amplitude modulation effect of receiver capture can not be obtained. In this case the mobile receiver moves from one transmitter provided predetermining while the other sounds like a very significant interference, although it can be difficult.

The guest house at the base of the Simatai section of the Great Wall of China was typically rural in its naked and unadorned atmosphere. I had been sicker than a dog for a week and I was really hoping for a nice hot shower. It was March and here in Simitai was freezing cold and windy. I checked into my room and turned on the shower. I let the water run a long time, but do not seem to be getting a warmer. I checked the receipt and the clerk sent a man to my room to see the hot water. He told them not to worry that there would be plenty of hot water in the morning. Swell. The hot shower had to wait. The next morning (at 4:00 am that came too soon), I turned on the water and surprise, no water. Not even the cold water! Oh well. I bundled up, grabbed my camera equipment and headed to the lobby to meet my traveling companion, Ginna Fleming, and our guide. We need our start early so we could be well on the wall and instead of shooting the sunrise. I have learned from years of travel, action photography assignment and there is no such thing as "too soon", but "too late" comes in a hurry: a short walk to the wall. It is too early for anyone to be around, only two of us and our local Chinese guide. She was a villager from nearby. He explained that the village was located here, but when the wells dried up people had to travel about 4 miles away where they could find more water. She told us that village life was very difficult and guide the tourists was much easier. We began to climb the wall, who climbed the mountainside on a steep slope. The top of the wall was, in effect, a stone staircase and walked to the lookout perch one step at a time. We climbed the "ladder" for nearly two hours before the sun began his own ascent to heaven. We went beyond the portion of wall and tourists to stop and warning signs prohibiting go further, but it was early and in the winter and there was no one to stop us. Here, the wall had been rebuilt and was in bad shape irregular. Our guide pointed out the graffiti that men and women who built the wall many years ago had left behind. The stones were loose and crumbling and had to be careful as we walked through the structure. When the light began to spread across the landscape we set up our tripods and a framed section of the wall distance stretching out below us like a giant serpent undulating up and down the edges brown and barren hills. For me it was one of the peaks of experience, one of the main reasons I travel. The sense of history was almost palpable, the only sound of birds singing. No tourists, no Hawking guides. Just this ancient wall, a magnificent view of the Chinese landscape and the cold wind pressure on us as the sun struggled through the morning mist. When its rays, finally reached the valley below us and recorded the details of the wall in its warm light that he knew the photos would also be the effort. While I was there to create the adventure and stock photography, travel, I was there for the experience and spent several hours in all quiet reverence. It was not until we were well on our way until we got through anther person passing quietly by us on his own trip to the Great Wall. Begun around 220 BC Qin Shi Huang, the first 3,000 miles of the wall required the effort of 70% of the population of China … more than a million peasants, prisoners and soldiers. There are more than 10,000 watchtowers and beacon towers on the Great Wall. There really is no "single" wall, but rather a series of walls, some brick and some land and built in a span of 2000 years. The stone and bricks from the Ming Dynasty wall would be enough to circle the earth five feet high! Our guide told us that the wall had never stopped any incursions. The intruders, just round the wall or bribed the guards to let them pass.

Uma regards the principle of the mother. Ganesh is "the destruction of the sentence." This is evident when one considers its relationship with Jupiter (a planet that represents wisdom, light and justice) and Ketu (ruling planet discrimination, psychic power, enlightnement and detachment). These qualities must be awakened in the Jyotishi, practitioner of Jyotish. The non-recognition of his father, Shiva, Ganesha did not let him enter the house. Shiva called the other gods of attendance and a big fight ensued in which Vishnu beheaded Ganesh'a. The enraged Parvati shook the universe threatens to destroy it. To reassure Shiva went looking for a new chief for the child, that she first saw it was an elephant.
